Coaching others to a higher level can greatly improve your own game. This course is for qualified Club-Level Coaches who now want to develop their coaching skills and upgrade their qualification to either Grade 1 AC or Grade 1 GC status. To become a Grade 1 AC Coach you are expected to have a handicap of 12 or below; to become a Grade 1 GC Coach the threshold is 6 or below. This is a blended learning course. In preparation for the day, candidates are required to study a Pre-Course Pack closely and take a Pre-Course Quiz on either the commoner Laws of AC or the commoner Rules of GC. The day itself will include elements of coaching for coaches, practical exercises and assessment.
A subsidy of £25 per person is available for CqE subscribers who have not already received the subsidy; use coupon code CQE in the shopping cart if you are such a subscriber.
Some Federations may also be able to offer further support. If you're also a member of the Yorkshire Croquet Federation use coupon code YCF in the shopping cart as full payment.
Suitably qualified and experienced candidates wishing to attempt both qualifications at the one course may do so provided they recognise they will have double the number of assessments: please book two places, for the reduced price of £65. A £50 subsidy is available for eligible dual qualification CqE subscribers.
