Dave

Dave Kibble, Bristol CC, is a Grade 3 Coach and an Examining Coach with extensive coaching experience not only in this country but also abroad. He is a former chair of the Croquet England Coaching Committee and has contributed a wealth of coaching material to the Croquet England website.

Ian B

Ian Burridge, Nottingham CC, is a very experienced croquet coach with a strong track record of successful coaching across the full range of handicap levels. He is a Grade 3 Coach in both AC and GC, a Referee in both codes, and an Examining Coach. This will be his debut as a Northern Academy coach.

Ian C

Ian Cobbold, Cheam CC, is the chair of the Croquet England GC Rules Committee and has been the prime mover behind the revised GC Referee course. He is a Grade 2 GC Coach, a GC Championship Referee and a GC Examining Referee. This will be his debut as a Northern Academy coach.

Ian S

Ian Shore, High Wycombe CC, is a key member of the Croquet England GC Rules Committee and is working with the World Croquet Federation on the next edition of the GC Rules. He coordinates the Chiltern Academy and is a Grade 2 GC Coach, a GC Championship Referee and a GC Examining Referee. This will be his debut as a Northern Academy coach.

James

James Hawkins, Pendle CC, is the author of the classic textbook Complete Croquet. He holds qualifications in refereeing, handicapping and tournament management; is a former Croquet Gazette Editor; is a past member of the Croquet England Coaching Committee and Development Committee; and is a Grade 3 Coach and Examining Coach.

John C

John Crossland, Sheffield CC, is an Examining Coach and a Grade 2 Senior Golf Croquet Coach as well as a Grade 1 AC Coach. He is a qualified GC Referee, Examining Referee and Championship Referee.

John H

John Harris is the co-ordinator of the Northern Academy.  He is a long-standing member of the Croquet England Coaching Committee, a Grade 1 AC Coach, the principal author of a number of CqE coach training courses, and the author of a CqE coaching manual.  The Croquet Gazette has published several of his articles on the history of the game.

Lionel

Lionel Stock is a Graded Coach in both AC and GC, and a Croquet England Examining Coach. He is a widely experienced and resourceful croquet coach and the editor of two acclaimed books on croquet by Roger Mills, of which one has laid the foundations of our new understanding of using bisques to build breaks.

Penny Clark, Ben Rhydding CC, has extensive experience of GC coaching supported by a successful track record of teaching and lecturing at school and university level. She is a GC Grade 1 Coach and Referee.
